The Snare Server, from InterSect Alliance, is a proprietary Log Monitoring
solution that builds on the open source Snare agents to provide a central
audit event collection, analysis, reporting and archival system.
Full source code and documentation is provided with this product,
allowing InterSect Alliance partners, or your internal security
team, to quickly develop and deploy Snare security objectives
that are derived directly from your key organisational security
requirements. The Snare Server also comes
equipped by default with an array of security objectives that allow you to
quickly meet common security goals.
The Snare Server is a Linux-based appliance, with minimal administrative
overhead. A web browser is used to configure, access, and maintain the
Snare Server software and associated infrastructure. Additional details on
Snare Server hardware reqirements, and features, are available from our
Documentation Resources.
